Klimato and Accor have announced a strategic partnership. The new agreement will see Klimato’s powerful food sustainability solution rolled out across hotels in the Accor group. Accor will promote Klimato to their portfolio of hotels as part of an increased focus on sustainable hospitality practices.
Klimato offers food sustainability tools for hotels, restaurants and other businesses, helping them to calculate, report, and communicate their dining-related emissions. Using peer-reviewed ingredient life cycle assessments (LCA), Klimato allows hotels and restaurants to design meals and menus that foster sustainable dining choices and make ESG reporting simpler and more accurate. Klimato’s database and scientific approach has been validated by the World Resource Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
Accor is a French multinational hospitality company operating more than 5,500 properties in over 110 countries. The group serves more than 200 million meals a year in their 10,000+ restaurants and bars and has ambitious goals for impact reduction across their operations.
By partnering with Klimato, Accor aims to further its mission of promoting sustainable hospitality, prioritizing emissions reduction while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
